Well let's see what's been up lately... pretty much just been hanging out and trying to have fun you know the usual weekend stuff. Nothing new really, just living and killing myself slowly. Hahaha. Hating the world as usual. I'm just going to make a quick list of random important/fun events.

Quick summary of Stellar Corpses|Plan 9 show / my birthday since I didn't write about it at all. :p
Well it was my birthday and my original plans were to hang with Kasi and then go to the show, but that didn't happen. I ended up hanging out in Oakland and eventually got picked up by Mauro and hit up the show I wanted to go to. Ran into a few people and the people who I was originally going with and also some friends from Richmond. It was a lot of fun, Stellar Corpses is a pretty awesome band I suggest checking them out! Plan 9 is a Misfits cover band and they were pretty damn awesome too. It felt like a real Misfits show. Haha. So yeah my birthday was spent with tons of friends, live music/awesome bands and moshing. Woooooh.

Far Too Long...

Not much to say really it's almost 6am and I'm pretty brain dead. I'll probably post up something later today, just vaguely summarize what's been up with me and the posts on LiveJournal.

Nekro Fest

2 nights , 13 bands and 6 DJ's
Deathrock, Post-Punk, Gothic, Industrial Event

Well Nekro Fest began on Friday October 23, I went to go support the band I help promote Limnus (www.myspace.com/limnus), I had to hitch a ride with them. Got there hours before the event started. So we just unloaded the equipment, got some food and came back to the venue. I had the shittiest luck for the first few hours I was there. I lost my phone and my boot ripped. Luckily they had tape and I somehow managed to find my phone. So we were just hanging out and some chick named Graziela asked if we could help out with pumpkins and what not. So we did, we got beer in return, haha. After that a few more people began to show up, friends from bands, the other bands and supporters of the event. Just waited around till show time.

So finally it was a little after 7pm and the show had to start, opening band was Limnus so people got up and took some pictures and what not. Limnus was probably one of the few bands to perform really well, the overall energy and how they played was just great, and I'm not just saying that cause I help promote them... haha. And I fucking started the mosh by telling Ryan about it, haha then he pushed me and well, we got a little mosh going.

These were my two favorite shots I got from J and Jared, it was tricky getting a shot of Matt and Paul since J and Jared's crotches would get in the way, haha. My two fave shots by me. : )






So the event carried on and the bands were okay, I spent most of my time wandering around the place and hanging outside and meeting new people with my head up in the sky.

The next night was only me , J and Jared. We got dressed up, coffin dusted (as they like to call it) and grabbed some pizza for the night!
Well as well as hitting up Nekro Fest, day two seemed a lot better to me. Maybe cause I was buzzed ? Haha. Well it was fun talking to people I met there the day before and meeting new ones and running into familiar faces. Got some free stuff from bands and got to hang with them as well. After that we headed home and some chick needed a ride to Oakland, so we gave her a lift. Got home, crawled into bed covered in 'coffin dust' smelling goooooood.

Hmmm, Well not to sure what to babble about really ? I guess I'll just list some random fun events that happened or are coming up ? Haha.

Well some fun events were I guess LovEvolution (LoveFest), biggest rave in the US, I believe. Went to the Psyclon Nine show before that, it was great! Had a lot of fun with the people I went with and new people I met. Since then not much has been happening I guess. Haha, but this weekend seems to be a really good one. Nekro Fest ! Limnus' first show, woooh! I am stoked. After that , woodstock event ? Hippies and pot...Not my thing, but trying something new won't hurt. If that doesn't work, well then back to Nekro Fest or partying with James. Then the next weekend will be...HALLOWEEEEEEN! Muahaha, not exactly sure what I'm doing, Limnus may be playing an acoustic show that day. Jessica is throwing a party, woooh. We'll see what happens. Haha.


But besides those up coming events, nothing much is going on in my world. Just getting back into art and trying to make a possible band-tee for Limnus. Been hanging out in the Valley a lot lately.It's a decent city, minus the wannabe 'ghetto' people. Haha other than that, it's a cool spot.

Hmm well that's all I have to say I guess. Haha.

Time Is Slipping Away...

And I beging to fade. So not much has been happening lately besides me losing my mind. I can't seem to gather myself. There's something that's just eating me from within. The only thing that's holding me back from going insane has been music. Nine Inch Nails to be specific. It has been non stop listening to NIN for the past week. Something about them keeps me in place. Maybe I need to find something to do that expresses my feelings more? Then again... I'm not even sure what I feel. I think I just need to be somewhere on my own. I don't know what to do with myself right now. It's becoming quite annoying and frustrating. I'll find my own strength soon to pick and put the pieces together. I feel used and beaten, but can't seem to find what caused such thing. I feel like I'm slowly breaking myself into pieces. I need to forget and forgive to move on. I soon hope to find the place where I belong.
